PAW 2024 aims to educate Civil Service employees about their pension options and encourage active engagement with their retirement planning. The event includes a series of live webinars covering topics such as understanding benefits, planning for retirement, and more.

Pension Awareness Week 2024 will include the following daily webinars:

1. New Joiners (16 September): Introduction to the Civil Service Pension scheme, including benefits and options.
2. Mid-Career (17 September):  The 2015 Remedy and preparing for a smoother retirement journey.
3. Boosting Your Benefits (18 September): The basics of boosting, and ways to enhance Civil Service pension benefits.
4. The 2015 Remedy (19 September): Details about 2015 Remedy and pension choices.
5. Retirement (20 September): Insights into retirement options, planning, and process.

Webinar registration:

Webinars are free, places are limited. Register now. 

• Each session has a maximum capacity of 10,000
• Members are encouraged to book only one session per day to ensure others have the opportunity to attend.
• Members who have either pre-registered for this event, or attended a previous Pension Awareness event, will receive a GOV.UK email directly from Civil Service Pensions containing a link to the PAW 2024 registration page.

After booking a webinar:

• Individuals will receive an email via GOV.NOTIFY confirming their booking.
• This email will contain a link to download the calendar invite for the chosen event (this is a .ICS file). Once downloaded, members can double click the file to open it, and it will automatically run/appear in their email client (EG Gmail/Outlook) and save to their calendar automatically.
• Please note: members should keep an eye on their junk folder as sometimes GOV.NOTIFY emails can get mistaken for spam!
