You can apply for your PCSPS benefits to be paid at or after age 75.
This page is for civil servants who were a member of the PCSPS before moving to alpha. Please note: there is no upper age limit in alpha.
How to apply for your PCSPS benefits on or from age 75
You don’t need to involve your employer in your application. The quickest and easiest way is to apply online by completing the online form and following the on-screen instructions.
We’ll then send you a retirement pack (including a quotation of the benefits you’re eligible to receive) for you to complete based on the information you provide. Complete and return the forms.
You’re not committing to any payments by requesting a quotation.
If you request a pack and decide you’re not ready for your pension to start, you don’t need to return the Personal Details Form – but you’ll need to reapply when you do decide to take your pension.
